Seeking the star

Pictoric

The work explores the human impulse to project hope and salvation onto a distant figure—often idealized, yet inevitably fallible. Depicted as animals, the characters move en masse toward a silhouette of leadership that offers no certainty, only an ambiguous shadow shaped by individual perception.

The landscape is disrupted by geometric forms that evoke urban structures—symbols of control and civilization imposed upon the natural world. These artificial layers reflect how our physical and symbolic constructions mediate our relationship with the environment, distancing us from direct experience.

The animals, as archetypes of obedience, act out a collective faith that, upon closer scrutiny, reveals its emptiness. The hollow silhouettes suggest absent bodies: vessels of personal projection, yet devoid of substance.
